Process & Experience
We strive to make your experience flawless and memorable.

At the initial meeting you will be greeted by a smiling face of one of our company representatives. This meeting is relatively informal and easy going, during the meeting we will be discussing your vision for your new home and what you hope to accomplish within your budget.

First step is to decide where you will be building. We can build on your own property, favorite community or we can help you find that special place that fits you and your families lifestyle.

Once we know what confines we will be working in on your property, we can then begin to determine the style home and floor plan that fits your needs. We can select something from Don Gardner Architects or we can start from scratch with our own draftsman.

This is the part where we sit down with you and discuss the final plans and contract. We will show you what level of quality and features we have been able to include in your budget for your home. If all is agreeable we will sign a contract and start scheduling the construction of your new home.

This is the exciting part when our months of pre-planning and budgeting start to take form. Within just a few weeks you will have a hole in the ground and the concrete will begin to shape your homes foundation. This is the most important part of the build.

After your foundation is complete the lumber is assembled and the home finally begins to take shape and for the first time since the beginning of the process you can begin to see what all the planning has gone into with the rough shape of your new home.

Historically, this is the most boring and frustrating part of the build for our clients. This is the point where all the necessary electrical, plumbing, heating and air, and any specialty features are roughed in to be concealed behind the walls. This process can take from as short as a month to several months depending on the complexity of the features. Many clients are unable to see what work was accomplished each day and it can feel like the job is at a stand still. Bare with us!

By this point you realize the job is moving again. Insulation has already been completed and the home has passed all state and local inspections. You soon will be able to see the actual size of the spaces and the hallways take shape. Once completed the excess drywall and dust are removed and we begin priming your walls with paint and calling in the finish crews.

At this stage things begin to get exciting, your trim work is being installed and painted and tile and flooring are right around the corner. You finally are able to see the colors and finishes you selected months ago inside your home for the first time.

This is one of the best parts of the build, your cabinets are fresh off the factory floor and sitting in your home where they will stay for many years to come. Your flooring is being installed and your tile is beginning to take shape. This is the point a which you will realize that move-in day is just around the corner.

The very last stage of the process is installing all the lighting, plumbing and appliances that you have selected. Utilities are turned on for the first time and the house seems to come alive with your style and personality. You are starting to feel right at home when you visit the site and imagining furniture placement.

Your punch list is complete or well on its way by this point. Your home has been cleaned and rid of all construction dust and debris. Landscaping is in and we are sitting at the closing table. We hand you the keys to your beautiful custom home and wish you and your loved ones years of happiness and enjoyment in the space. Thats not the end of our relationship, your warranty is now active, don't hesitate to call or email us with any questions about your home that were not covered by orientation.
